At 4QL we have over 20 years experience developing software applications for small and micro businesses.  Yes, that means right back to before the days of the PC and Mac!

Nowadays we use almost exclusively Microsoft tools including .NET, ASP.net, VB.net, Javascript, SQL Server, ODBC and Access database.  With these we have developed techniques so we can quickly produce an application to meet any business requirement.

The current trend is for website based applications. Our own OctEportal™ product provides an excellent development base which we can customise to do whatever you want.  We also develop applications to run on you PC.  More interestingly we have considerable experience in applications which operate in both in your PC and on your website.

To keep the costs low we outsource some of the development work to a partner we helped to set up in Dumaguete City in the Philippines.  When we did this we were concerned not to exploit our partners so we were delighted to find a place where we can offer top wages but still at a very attractive price to us.  Dumaguete City has two universities produces qualified software developers who then have to leave their home town to find work in Manila.  We are happy to help reverse this trend by enabling them to work near their families.
